Hey folks! It's been a long while since a meetup and since we haven't thrown anything at our space in awhile, I figured I'd start sending out invites to stuff I'm going to. A few folks have emailed me various events, and I apologize for not getting to them - I've had some craziness to deal with and have been a bit AWOL. Please continue to send me your ideas and let's get more stuff going!

So, this is super-short notice, but one of my favorites, Infected Mushroom, is at Vanguard LA tomorrow (Saturday, July 18th). Infected Mushroom is one of the seminal psytrance crews that brought psy to the forefront of electronic music during the 90s rave era. To this day, they've continued to evolve their sound, now sometimes adding live musicians (yes guitar and 160 bpm drummers!) to their act. They're gonna be a Vanguard LA tomorrow night and I'm sure as hell gonna be there, so I hope to see you guys there!

Just in time for the E3 video game summit, we'll rock an extra fat plump, with a stellar line up, a fresh art show by E3 artists, and all the gorgeous decor and sexy vibe you expect at Plump. Get creative with a whimsical theme: The Virtual Playground, dress in playful oufits, game characters, imagined creatures, kids clothing! We'll have a furry swing and an old school video game to play, plus some adult games like pole dancing, and sexy hooping...come out and play.

We're going to redo New Years 2008! If your new years sucked, here's the chance to do it right! Bring some friends and someone/thing to kiss at midnight!

Music starts at 7 and goes until there's no one left. 3,4,5am? Later? No problem. We'll start out mellow and sweet and kick it up when the night settles in. Email me if you want to DJ so I can set up the DJ lineup. We need help with speaker equipment (Bliddie?), but we provide 2 CD1000s and 2 1200s. Please bring booze and friends who like to groove. Let's start this group off right!
